The Model
This simulator is powered by a Marketing Mix Model (MMM). It's a regression model trained on historical sales and advertising data to learn the relationship between how much you spend and how much you sell. It also understands real-world effects like diminishing returns (the more you spend, the less effective each dollar becomes).
The Game
In Challenge Mode, our AI Analyst will give you a specific business scenario and a budget. Your job is to find the optimal marketing mix to meet the goal. The AI will then give you feedback on your performance, comparing your strategy to the mathematically best possible solution.
In a Real-World Setting
This tool is a simplified version of what marketing analytics teams use to make multi-million dollar decisions. In the real world, you would use more data (promotions, holidays, competitor spending), fine-tune the model parameters, and run complex budget optimizations.
